Thank you for placing your bids through Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries. Please fill out the following form and click on the submit button. By filling out this form, you state that you have read and agreed to all the Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Established Bidders will need to know your customer number. It is your permanent customer identification normally found on your invoice or other correspondence. You may assign yourself a password so that future bids will be authorized. If you don't know your customer number, leave it blank and provide enough information so that we may identify your bids.
New Bidders must fill out the entire form including the dealer references. Once you have established relations with the auction firm, we will provide you with a customer number and password. In that case, enter your customer number, password, and name.
You may fill out this form multiple times to submit more than 25 bids. Each time, you must press the Submit button.
Limit and “OR” bids. If you would like to limit your entire purchases, enter the limit amount where indicated. If you would like to place “OR” bids on a group (or several groups) of lots, enter a number for each lot in the group of or bids. If you have more that one set of “OR” bids, use another number. See the example below.
Confidentiality. Your bids are confidential. They are not stored at Stamp Auction Central, nor does any person at Stamp Auction Central have access to your bids. The results of this form are sent directly to the auction firm via email.
Entering “OR” Bids
This is an example of how to fill out the form. Assume you want to bid on either lots 12 and 13, (but don't want to win both), lot 20 (no OR bid), and either lots 21, 22, and 25. Bids should be entered as follows:
In the example above OR bid indicators “A” and “B” are used to indicate a group of OR bids. A new letter is used for each set of OR bids. Do not use an OR bid indicator if the lot is NOT an OR bid. Note that the OR bid indicator “A”, “B”, etc… must be used for every lot that is in the group of OR bids (including the first one). You may use the letters A–Z to indicate each group of OR Bids.
