The Siegel firm’s auction sales for
2001 were $13,196,165 hammer. The sales total for the first half of the year was
$9,782,250 hammer (or $10,760,475 with the 10% buyer’s
premium), almost exactly the dollar amount for the same period last year. Lower
sales in the latter half of the year as compared to 2000 are mostly due to the
move of our offices and renovation of the new space, which took place from June
thru October.
