ONE OF THREE RECORDED 30-CENT JUSTICE DEPARTMENT COVERS.

There are three recorded covers bearing the 30c Justice high value. In addition to this single on cover (paying the 10x 3c rate), there are two covers to Nathan Goff, U.S. Attorney in Clarksburgh West Va., one with a 3c, 6c and 30c Justice (13x rate) and the other with three 90c and four 30c stamps (130x rate for a large bundle of documents). Both of the other covers were in the Lockyear collection (sold by Bennett). All three covers have comparable faults.
