Line. Brown cover to Manchester N.H. with illustrated
advertisement, depicting ships, a train, post rider, postman and
turtle, above which is a telegraphic lightning bolt connected to a hand and
quill, the obvious implication being that the telegraph beats all other
forms of communication, "Office at Cheney & Co's Express" corner card, ms.
"Paid" for local delivery, with original enclosure, a Bain's Chemical
Telegraph blue printed form with message received at Manchester N.H. dated
Aug. 18, 1851, a heartfelt and gentle notification that "Eugene is dead.
Funeral tuesday. if you come bring William", small tear at upper right,
