comprehensive study collection of Dakota Territory, mainly Bank Note Issue
frankings but also incl. 3c 1861-68's from Cheyenne (blue cancels), Fort
Abercrombie, Fort Randall and Vermillion, later markings incl. ovals,
forts, county and postmaster names, registered, "Grand Forks, Dak."
