Tied by bold 4-ring target with center punch (Ty. 133, Scarcity 3), "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Jun. 18" circular datestamp on brown cover to Hilo, sender's endorsement "Per 'Kate Lee', 1 Bag Potatoes", Very Fine, very attractive example of this Honolulu punch cancel and especially desirable with sender's endorsement (Image) E. 300-400 325.00
4696° c image1864, 2c Rose Vermilion (31). Tied by incredibly bold strike of 7-bar circular grid (Ty. 9), "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Mar. 23" circular datestamp (Ty. 243.03) on cover to Rev. Bishop at Lahainaluna, Maui, stamp creased at lower right, otherwise Very Fine, the grid is so heavily inked it actually bleeds thru stamp to cover (visible under stamp at right) (Image) E. 200-300 275.00

Two, each tied by perfectly struck 9-bar square grid (Ty. 22) cancel, "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands May 15" circular datestamp on brown cover to Hana, cover a bit aged and worn around edges, stamps have faint toning and small perf faults, still a Fine inter-island cover with superb strikes of the 9-bar grid (Image) E. 200-300 180.00

Perfectly centered with wide even margins, tied by purple "Kahuku, Oahu, Aug. 13, 1892" double-line circular datestamp (Ty. 253.06) on cover to Bennington Vt., forwarded twice to Provincetown Mass. and back to Bennington, Honolulu duplex datestamp, purple "T/25 Centimes" deficiency handstamp, "U.S. Charge to Collect 10 Cents" due handstamp, various transits and forwarding datestamps, Extremely Fine, unusual forwarded and postage due usage (Image) E. 300-400 0.00

Pair tied by perfect bold purple "Peninsula, Oahu, Oct. 19, 1898" double-line circular datestamp and duplex target (Ty. 255.9a1 and target 131, Rarity 1RR) on cover to Honolulu, receiving backstamp, minor toning, otherwise Very Fine, wonderful strike of this rare marking (Image) E. 500-750 1,300.00

Tied by perfect strike of purple "Punaluu, Oahu, Dec. 21, 1898" double-line circular datestamp and duplex target (Ty. 255.01, Rarity 1R) on cover to Waialua, Oahu, backstamped with Honolulu transit and Waialua receiving datestamp (Ty. 251.01), reduced at left and faint toning, otherwise Very Fine, according to Gregory, Punaluu was a stop on the overland mail route and reported no stamp sales in 1898 (Image) E. 400-500 550.00

Cancelled by partly readable strike of purple "Wahaiwa, Oahu, Nov. - 1899" double-line circular datestamp (Ty. 255.01, Rarity 1RRR), Fine, only a few letters of town name are visible, but this is a very rare marking, Gregory reports six strikes (Image) E. 100-150 275.00
