(31). Cancelled by incredibly bold and sharp strike of Negative
"HI" cancel (Ty. 15), "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Nov. 6" (1869)
circular datestamp on blue cover to Lahainaluna, neatly docketed, faint
toning around edges, still Extremely Fine, without question one of the
clearest "proof-like" strikes of the "HI" cancel in existence (Image) |

Potatoes", Very Fine, very attractive example of this Honolulu punch

otherwise Very Fine, the grid is so heavily inked it actually bleeds thru
stamp to cover (visible under stamp at right)

toning and small perf faults, still a Fine inter-island cover with superb

Waialua receiving datestamp (Ty. 251.01), reduced at left and faint toning,
otherwise Very Fine, according to Gregory, Punaluu was a stop on the
overland mail route and reported no stamp sales in 1898
