plague and addressed to Funchal, Madeira, all four corners clipped, red
"R/1248" (Ty. 703) handstamp, Lisbon and Funchal backstamps, Very
Fine, a fantastic usage, the solid "R" Ty. 703 marking is described by
Gregory as "quite scarce according to my record and may deserve a rarity
rating instead of the scarcity rating I give it", ex Honolulu

registry datestamps on back, stamps have been reaffixed, Very Fine, the
solid "R" Ty. 703 marking is described by Gregory as "quite scarce
