1516 c Small Cover Accumulation. About 30 items, includes No. 9X1 handsome large margined single with vertical crease (did not originate), Salem Mass. "Witch" fancy cancellation on 3c entire, Blood's envelope no. 15LU9, two pretty beer and liqueur manufacturers' multicolor ads, two Farwell 2c single private perfs, 1c Blue Green "coil" pair No. 314 var. on 1920 Covell printed address cover, looks like No. 318 but is perforated 11-3/4, ca 1855 Valentine and cover (no stamp), few FDC's, three 1837 "Express Mail" stampless out of New Orleans (two 75c and one $1.50 rates), a dozen 19th century California covers from various mining towns and a 1930 Fancy Registered usage from Chinese Camp, generally Fine-Very Fine, interesting eclectic lot E. 500-750 800.00

1520 c Match and Medicine Advertising Covers. 129 covers and several additional invoices or enclosures, all related to match and patent medicine companies, most with advertising designs, many illustrated, a few with M & M's used as postage, wide variety of regular postage frankings incl. 1851's, 1857's, 1861's, Bank Notes and Columbians, two to Canada with 10c 1861's, condition is generally Fine-Very Fine, a wonderful collection assembled by Henry Tolman over many years E. 2,000-3,000 4,000.00
1520A c Insurance Advertising Covers. Approximately 100 covers collected by Elliott H. Coulter (an insurance agent for entertainers), many with 1869's (mostly 3c, but we note 2c and 6c), one Great Britain 1p Black on printed circular, great variety of firms and designs incl. illustrated corner cards, some very elaborate allegorical images, also a small group of 1930's FDC's, mixed condition, many attractive covers for which Mr. Coulter paid $50 to $150 more than 25 years ago E. 2,000-3,000 4,500.00
