by corks, "Newark N.J. Apr. 5" circular datestamp on cover to Moradabad,
India, stamps also tied by red 1875 London transit, red "New York 24
Apr. 6" credit datestamp, Sea Post Office and receiving backstamps,
slightly reduced at right, 24c tiny toned speck not mentioned on
accompanying certificate, Very Fine, scarce late usage of the 24c 1863
Issue on cover to India, with 1986 P.F. certificate

Post Office and receiving backstamps, cover with some overall wear, stamps
with faults incl. small piece out at top of 24c, appears Fine, scarce
usage, the Marseilles route was discontinued in November 1870, this is
franked to pay the 28c rate by British Mails via Brindisi (Image) |
