ST-MP5), red "New York Dec. 10" circular datestamp on 1873 cover to England, receiving backstamp, stamps with few tiny tears, appears Very Fine, very rare, this is the earliest of the two recorded covers bearing this New York Foreign Mail cancel, especially desirable with the colorful franking (the other cover bears only a single 10c stamp, to France), ex Van Vlissingen-Waud and Weiss (Image) E. 750-1,000 1,100.00

Hansa", receiving backstamp, part of address crossed out, few lightly toned perfs, Very Fine, scarce New York Foreign Mail cancel, only eight covers recorded in Weiss (Image) E. 500-750 425.00
