Each approx. 72 x 72mm, complete set of values in issued colors without plate letters and position numbers (except for 33-1/3c), trivial flaws VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL AND RARE SET OF 1878 SERIES BEER STAMP PROOFS. The frame of each proof is typographed, and the vignettes are engraved. All but the 33-1/3c are without the plate letter and position number. AN IMMACULATE SET OF 1898 SERIES BEER STAMP PROOFS. This set, printed on bright India paper, is in remarkable contrast to the issued 1898 Series stamps on dark blue paper.
