Ms. pmk. and "On Service" and "Free" on folded cover to the Paymaster General in Washington City, light file folds and minor edgewear, Very Fine, this is the earliest reported usage from Crawford Court House, the post office was opened in 1823 and was active until 1832, when its name was changed to Pleasant Hill, ASCC value $500.00 (Image) E. 400-500
