EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE 1894 $5.00 UNWATERMARKED BUREAU ISSUE IN THE FINEST CONDITION OBTAINABLE. A BEAUTIFUL STAMP WHICH CERTAINLY DESERVES ITS GRADE OF "SUPERB 98".

The two most difficult denominations of the 1894 Unwatermarked Bureau Issue to find in superb original-gum condition are the $1.00 Type II (Scott 261A), and the $5.00. The example offered here is among the finest we have encountered.
