Dec. 24" and five transit backstamps, back of cover also with Swiss Consulate at Detroit consular seal, blue "America Uber Bremen Franco" three-line handstamp, various credit markings, Very Fine, the 42c postage was probably intended to pay the double 21c French Mail rate, however, this was sent via Bremen-Hamburg Mail, where the double rate would have been 38c (Image) E. 2,000-3,000
