1263 INDIA ROCKET MAIL. Mounted collection of 31 nearly all different stamps and a few proofs for 1934-35 flights, includes two sets of three different Sangor Island flight (400 of each printed), Mar. 23, 1935 Silver Jubilee flight at Diamond Harbor with one of eleven known unused copies of the double impression, many signed on back by Stephen Smith, the rocketeer, additionally there is one cover from Dec. 17, 1934 Saugor Island flight and a Dec. 4, 1934 Ship-to-Shore rocket flight from S.S. "Canonbar" to Brisbane, Australia with normal 2p franking on front and pair (with full sheet margins and inscriptions) of rocket stamp with Queensland Air Mail Society handstamp guarantee, Very Fine lot E. 400-500

1265 c IRAN POSTAL HISTORY. Accumulation of approximately 425 covers and postal cards, wide range of issues from about 1890 until 1936, includes mixed issues, two and three-color frankings, censored mail, some duplication, some postal cards are unused, these covers in our opinion are worth generally in the $8 to $20 range, with a few higher, the best one is a 1902 usage from Teheran to England with Russian Baku (later Azerbaijan) backstamp franked with 1c pair and singles of the 2c, 3c, 5c and 12c 1902 Issue (247/252), nearly all Fine-Very Fine, excellent for study and continuation E. 5,000-7,500
