EXTREMELY FINE APPEARING EXAMPLE OF THE 13-CENT "HAWAIIAN POSTAGE" MISSIONARY WITH A BEAUTIFUL CONTRASTING RED CANCEL. ONLY NINE OFF-COVER 13-CENT "HAWAIIAN POSTAGE" STAMPS ARE RECORDED WITH THE "SUGAR CANE" CANCEL.

Missionary stamps cancelled in red are far more desirable than examples with ordinary black cancellations, although this is not reflected in the Scott Catalogue price quoted.

VERY FINE. A SCARCE USAGE OF THE 2-CENT BLACK ON GRAYISH NUMERAL ISSUE, TIED BY THE BLUE LAHAINA DATESTAMP AND USED TO HONOLULU.
