in 14 NuAce albums. This is the most extensive group of this popular issue
we have ever seen including sets of 10 singles, sets of two with 5 stamps

unofficials, sets with blocks and plate blocks, and many combos. Cachet

1938 Presidential Collection. Approximately 1,175 covers
neatly mounted in 13 NuAce albums and one large blue notebook. This
collection includes many complete sets of 832-834 (including the 3 Booklet
Panes), Presidential Electric Eye issues, sets of the Presidential Coil
Issue (839-51), as well as individual covers and some partial sets. Many of
the major cachet makers are represented in this fine collection, including
Crosby, Anderson, Fidelity, Pavois, Kee, Macos, Grimsland, Grandy, J. W.
Clifford, Historic Arts, Hux, Espenshade, Ioor, Linprint, Farnam, Imperial.
There are some Coil sets on two covers. We also note many coil line pairs,
three beautifully scripted covers (823, 824 and 829) addressed to George
Stanton. There are 8 Griffith "wood block" cachets (807//15). In all, we
counted 41 $1.00 values , 45 $2.00 values (2 Plate Blocks and 10 Plate
