1901. 1c Pan-American (294) tied by Buffalo N.Y. Sep. 14, 1901
Pan-American Exposition machine cancel on unaddressed cover with add-on
cachet in Black, very minor surface scrapes from cancellation device (all
known covers have these scrapes - some more extensive than others), this is
an extremely clean and bright example, McKinley was shot on Sep. 6 by
anarchist Leon Czolgosz, he succumbed to the wound on Sept. 14, Brookman

Wilson Inaugural, 1913. 1c
Green tied by Washington D.C. Mar. 4, 1913 machine cancel on back of
souvenir postcard depicting a multicolored Eagle, Flag and Rifle with
printed text "Souvenir Inauguration of President Woodrow Wilson Washington,
D.C. March 4th 1913 greetings from FOURTH REGIMENT National Guard
Pennsylvania", scarce, produced by the Fourth Regiment National Guard of
Pennsylvania in advance of the Inauguration and actually sent the day of
the Inaugural, this is only the second pre-1929 Inaugural we have seen
where the card was actually produced to commemorate the Inauguration (the
other was for Roosevelt in 1905), the most exciting Inaugural or related
item in the Martin Collection and quite rare
