VERY FINE. THIS IS THE ONLY KNOWN COMBINATION FIRST DAY COVER WITH PLATE NUMBER SINGLES OF THESE ISSUES. ONE OF ONLY THREE RECORDED COMBINATION COVERS. A GREAT ROTARY PRESS ISSUE RARITY.

All four stamps were issued on the same day. A recent auction realization for a similar cover (without plate numbers) was over $5,000. (Image)

VERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY 37 FIRST DAY COVERS OF THIS ROTARY COIL ISSUE PRODUCED BY WARD.

We have offered two other examples of this Scott 599 FDC in recent auctions. The last recorded sales of a similar cover were in McCusker Sale #110 (4/98) at $2,300 and Sale #145 (11/2000) at $3,000.
