Worden, Very Fine and scarce, a must for the Worden collector or Flat Plate specialist, a similar cover realized $1,320 in McCusker Sale #87 (8/96) and $1,540 in our Sale #92 (1/97), $1,550 in Sale #110 (4/98) and over $2,300 in Sale #160 (12/2001), Brookman catalogue value is $2,000.00 for any cover, but this cover serviced by Worden is extremely scarce (Image) E. 2,000-2,500 2,100.00

May 1, 1923 2:30 PM machine cancel on registered combination cover addressed to and serviced by George Frost, with his distinctive wax seal on back (shows thru), an extremely scarce combination First Day cover, both stamps were issued on the same day, this is only the third we have offered in over 20 years, the previous two brought over $2,000 each in 1997 and 1998.
