THE 2-CENT BLACK JACK IS ONE OF THE RAREST 1861-66 RE-ISSUES IN USED CONDITION. Of the eighteen used 2c Black Jack Re-Issue stamps in our census records, only nine are sound and graded Very Fine or better. Deep shade and rich color, beautiful proof-like impression, indistinct cancel with trace of circular datestamp ("Jan") VERY FINE FOR THIS EXTREMELY RARE USED RE-ISSUE. Our census contains only sixteen used examples of the 3c 1861 Re-Issue. Of these sixteen, only seven are sound. Of the seven sound copies, five have perforations either close or touching on one side. ONLY THIRTEEN USED EXAMPLES OF THE 12-CENT RE-ISSUE ARE CONTAINED IN OUR RECORDS. Our census of Scott 107 contains only thirteen used examples. Of these, five are sound and with centering qualifying as Extremely Fine. This is only the third example we have offered since 1995, and is one of the scarcest values of the set.
