2415 og GERMANY & OCCUPATIONS SOUVENIR SHEETS COLLECTION. 1936-49, the balance of an exhibit collection with approximately 75 items on exhibit pages, Germany proper with First and Second Brown Ribbon covers, strip of three of an essay strip of three (25pf Hitler in dark carmine, similar to the issued design for the birthday souvenir sheets), Hitler Birthday souvenir sheets on and off-cover, 1946 Berlin Philatelic sheet perf. and imperf. (mint, perf. on cover and perf . and imperf. on presentation sheets), five different French Zone sheets, American/British Zone 1949 Hanover Fair FDC, Soviet Zone with better Thuringia with mint, several covers, and a scarce serial numbered "Gross Block" from West Saxony sold to exhibitors at the Leipzig Trade Fair in 1946, a used 1949 Goethe souvenir sheet, mint, used and two covers from Danzig, Serbia, and Croatia with 1942 National Aviation sheet imperf. with reversed colors and a second impression of the 2k+8k, one of only 1,000 1943 "Golden Bull" presentation folders, and the same stamp as a color proof printed on both sides, the unused are original gum where appropriate and some are n.h., a very neat collection which contains a number of scarce and unusual items, virtually all Fine-Very Fine E. 1,500-2,000 2,200.00
