gumEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB AND RARE SOUND EXAMPLE OF THE RARE $5.00 PROPRIETARY ON VIOLET PAPER. ONLY 74 WERE ISSUED ON VIOLET PAPER.
Examples of the $5.00 Proprietary Issue almost invariably have faults, due to the stamp's large size and the nature of its use.

margins, Extremely Fine and rare, only three known and at least one of the
other two has a fault, these seals were privately printed for sale to
Fourth Class Post Offices, with 2003 P.F. certificate (not noting variety)
