(1870) circular datestamp on pictorial cover to Woodstock, New
Brunswick, handstamped "Paid 2" applied at Houlton for ferriage
rate to Canadian post office near border, receiving backstamp,
Extremely Fine, considered to be the finest of the few known examples of
this scarce rate paid by a 2c 1869, illustrated in Ashbrook's Special
Service (his notes on face of cover)
