"X", light strike of Clarksville Tenn. circular datestamp on folded letter datelined Clarksville June 24th 1849 from Cave Johnson to Lebanon Tenn., expertly restored along file folds, otherwise Fine, the only recorded usage fro Clarksville, this was sent by the former Postmaster General Cave Johnson, who was in office when the 1847 Issue was released, he left office only about three months prior to sending this letter (Image) E. 300-400 575.00
