established in Nashville by Gen. A. S. Johnston from January 1862 to "at

July 13" to sister in Columbia Tenn., with buff cover addressed and
endorsed "Aug. 14th 1863, Approved, Henry R. Mizner, Col. Commdg.",
letter with rejoined splits, cover has faint stain and some edge faults,
otherwise Fine, according to the Harrison book this is the only recorded
mail from the Prison Hospital in Nashville, located in Dr. Ford's Church on
