Approximately 35-40 examples of Scott 167 are believed to exist. The typical centering is quite poor.

bottom, deep shade and proof-like impression, without scissors-trimmed

Probably fewer than 75 examples have survived.

barest traces of brownish adhesive frequently found on Special
PrintingsEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. LESS THAN 40 OF THE 3-CENT 1875 CONTINENTAL SPECIAL PRINTING ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST.
