bottom three rows, recognized plate varieties are Pos. 1 smeared "E" of
"Postage", Pos. 5 scarred "E" of "Postage", Pos. 13 closed curl lower
right, Pos. 21 spur upper left and Pos. 25 goose neck, deep rich color,
large margins, original gum, usual brown gum toning and slight creasing
caused by gum -- considered to be normal condition for large General Issue
