color on bright paper, choice centeringEXTREMELY FINE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF THE 25-CENT PARCEL POST POSTAGE DUE STAMP. THIS IS PROBABLY THE FINEST PLATE BLOCK OF THIS STAMP IN EXISTENCE.
As an indicator of its rarity, the Scott Catalogue value for a hinged plate block has only increased by $500 since 1991. There is no listing for a Never-Hinged plate block for the 25c, despite listings for all other denominations of the set. We do not recall handling another Mint N.H. plate block of this stamp.
