1864"VERY FINE. A RARE ITEM SIGNED AND WRITTEN ENTIRELY IN THE HAND OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN. This item has been retained by the descendants of Miss Wilson since the Civil War. Accompanied by 1954 newspaper article about the pass three page text partly dictated by Miss Wilson's granddaughter, born in 1859, about the need for the pass. When her parents died, leaving eight children behind, Miss Wilson came to collect her grandchildren and take them back to Texas.
