slight thinVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT ENGRAVED ESSAY WITH FRAMELINES. The Scott Catalogue has no essay listed for the 2c Jackson issue. The Dietz catalogue lists the Framelines essay in Black, not Blue, but the listing may have been made from a black-and-white photograph with the color incorrectly identified.
