Chase states in his 3c book that a small batch of stamps was printed with this paper, which consisted of rag stock and some inner bark from a bamboo tree. Most are known with this small Boston "Paid" grid cancel, and he states that perhaps 20-30 copies are known, which we believe is an understatement today. Accompanied by 1999 letter from Dr. Amonette.
