sides, without usual pen cancellation, tied by bold strike of blue
"Baltimore Md. Mar. 28" circular datestamp on bright fresh cover to Port
Tobacco Md., matching "Paid" and "5" in circle handstamps, stamp originally
affixed with bottom margin slightly folded underneath, it is now folded up
with a light horizontal crease in bottom sheet margin and a small tear that
just touched bottom framelineVERY FINE. AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT BALTIMORE PROVISIONAL ON WHITE PAPER. VERY FEW ARE KNOWN WITH THE STAMP TIED SOLELY BY THE TOWN DATESTAMP.
