EXTREMELY FINE. AN IMPRESSIVE HALF-PANE OF 50 OF THE 24-CENT VIOLET TRIAL COLOR PROOF.

The shade of this proof is closer to bright Red Lilac, but we have classified it according to the Scott listing for Violet on India. Scott Retail as ten blocks of four and ten singles. (Image)
