1861-66 Issue (Scott 64 - 66 )
Lot Sym. Lot Description Est/Cat Realized
1267 og image3c Pink (64). Original gum, h.r., three balanced margins and extra large margin at bottom, bright fresh color in true Pink shade, pulled perf at bottom

VERY FINE. THE 3-CENT 1861 PINK IS EXTREMELY RARE IN ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.

The 3c Pink stamps with original gum are almost invariably creased and/or toned. This stamp is a rare exception. Despite the perf fault at bottom, it is one of the freshest and best-centered examples we have encountered. (Image)
