cancelEXTREMELY FINE. THE 2-CENT AMERICAN BANK NOTE STAMP WITH DOUBLE IMPRESSION (SCOTT 183a) IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL DOUBLE IMPRESSIONS. The Scott Catalogue lists only nine Bank Note stamps with double impressions. We were unable to find any examples of this stamp certified as genuine by the Philatelic Foundation, or any record of other examples in our reference files. (Image) |
