Aug. 20" circular datestamps on piece, pair and single have margins clear at top and just in at bottom right VERY FINE EXAMPLE OF THIS RARE CLASSIC PERFORATION ERROR. ONLY A FEW ARE KNOWN TO EXIST. The Piller collection (our Sale 748) contained a cover with a vertical strip of three, also postmarked at Griffin Ga. We are unaware of any other examples of this error.
