A SPECTACULAR AND UNIQUE USE OF THE RARE MAGNUS CRYSTAL PALACE LETTERSHEET WITH STAMP OF SWARTS' LOCAL POST, WHICH BROUGHT THE LETTER TO THE POST OFFICE FOR ITS TRANSATLANTIC JOURNEY TO GERMANY. REMARKABLE FROM MANY PERSPECTIVES. Only a few used examples of this Magnus lettersheet are known. Use of the Swarts stamp on transatlantic mail is also very rare.
