white William Hunt", with original enclosure (transcript accompanies)
with some interesting comments such as "We passed Mr. Lincoln and Gen.
McClellan on the way...We passed over the ground at Antietam, where our
Army made its last and successful stand and from there drove the rebels
back. You would think that lightning had struck the fields there, and left
every thing a ruin and a wilderness.", stamp with light crease and top
right corner torn off prior to use, ink splatter on printed design, minor
