EXTREMELY FINE AND CHOICE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE VERTICAL PAIR OF THE IMPERFORATE ONE-CENT PLAYING CARD. ONLY THREE VERTICAL PAIRS ARE RECORDED IN TURNER CENSUS.

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS IS THE FINEST OF THE SIX KNOWN PAIRS OF THE IMPERFORATE 3-CENT PLAYING CARDS. ONE OF THE GREATEST RARITIES OF UNITED STATES REVENUE COLLECTING.

Turner records six vertical pairs of this rarity, and no larger multiples. However, a review of auction records indicates that it is much scarcer in pair form that census figures would indicate.
