EXTREMELY FINE. THE ONLY RECORDED BLOCK SHOWING THE PLATE NUMBER AND WITH ORIGINAL GUM. A MAGNIFICENT SHOWPIECE OF THE FINEST QUALITY.

The Chapin census records two blocks of four with plate numbers. The second block has manuscript "X"'s, and is most likely a presentation proof which was not regularly issued. This block is therefore unique for the issued stamp.
