Dec. 3" (1865) double-circle ds, "New Bedford Mass Dec. 27" double-circle receiving backstamp, the U.S. stamp is no longer present, a trace of cogwheel cancel is visible - most likely the 5c was moved to show Numeral and then lost, illustrated in Meyer-Harris (fig. 70) in its present form, a Very Fine and unusual "Held for Postage" usage (Image Magnifier)
