A VERY FINE AND OUTSTANDING WELLS FARGO & COMPANY EXPRESS USAGE FROM MEXICO TO EUROPE. BELIEVED TO BE UNIQUE WITH THE 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE AND ALSO THE EARLIEST RECORDED WELLS FARGO COVER FROM MAZATLAN.

This remarkable cover surfaced in Europe during the past year and, as far as we know, is offered in the American market for the first time. Use of the 1869 Pictorial Issue on express mail is very rare, this transatlantic usage is thought to be unique (Image Magnifier)
