Thirty-one different Pairs branch Post Offices are represented. Highlights include Two "Confies," Three Red (SC) 11 Mini-letters, One "Boule," Three Attempts to enter Paris (one by air), a Telegram, a 16 Page Pigeongramme "Microfiche," A 16 Page 1871 "Dagron Simulacre," a Swiss Gratis Label, 15 "Absents" (three duplicates), Two Depeche-Ballon Newspapers, a Cap Emblem in Brass & a lead jeton for the "Garibaldi". Ten of the 47 were on the Flight to Norway. Final Destinations include Eight to England, Three to two different Channel Islands, 18 to Belgium, One to Prussian Occupied France, Three to Switzerland, Two to Prussia, Four to Italy, Two to Russia, Two to Holland & Two to Austria-Hungary for a total of 11 different foreign destinations outside France. A Nadar-Aerostier vermilion seal is on one of the two confies. Of course there are other items of interest & value too numerous to mention. Fine-Very Fine Quality Prevails in this collection which took 12 years to assemble. This collection has won numerous awards, including three National Golds & a 1985 Research Award since it was first shown in 1977. (Over 130 Items)
