In the Caspary Sale This Cover is listed as having originated at "London, Canada." The "Canada" no doubt was transcribed from the letter heading but in our opinion refers to a Ship or a routing via Canada. In the former instance this privately carried letter would have Run The Blockade, in the latter instance the letter would ahve been carried down-river & seems to be the more logical of the two methods, based on postal origin and destination.
